S3 EP2 Title: Professor Kevin Fenton Unplugged: Tackling Youth Violence at its Roots

Guests: Professor Kevin Fenton and Ruby Hamdani

Powered by You is a podcast produced and hosted by Zino Khalfaoui (RBKC) in collaboration with Morley Radio (Morley College London) where he invites young adults from the local community to discuss the latest hot topics which impact their lives such as health, education, creativity, family life, and physical wellbeing. This podcast will also promote various programmes, raise awareness, and increase civic participation.

Today, we're delving into a critical issue that touches the lives of many in our community—violence affecting our youth. But we're not approaching this solely as a challenge; we're examining it through the lens of public health, seeking a deeper understanding and, more importantly, solutions that resonate.
In this episode, we're honoured to have a distinguished guest, Professor Kevin Fenton, who brings a wealth of expertise in public health. Professor Kevin Andrew Fenton, CBE, FFPH is a Public Health Physician and Infectious Disease Epidemiologist. He is the London Regional Director at Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, Regional Public Health Director at NHS London and the Statutory Health Advisor to the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. Together, we aim to unravel the layers of this issue, gaining insights that not only inform but inspire action. So, stay with us as we embark on this crucial conversation.

These episodes are also uploaded to the RBKC YouTube channel and also available in Spotify, Google, and Apple Podcasts. Each episode is also available on www.MorleyRadio.co.uk
