Dame Anne Richards is CEO of Fidelity International and has worked in the asset management industry since 1992, including over two decades as an analyst, portfolio manager and CIO. She is a strong proponent of ESG investing and diversity and inclusion. Her career path spans many blue-chip global companies including: Alliance Capital, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Aberdeen Asset Management.

Previously, she served as chief investment officer of Aberdeen Asset Management and cCEO of M&G Investments.

She was promoted Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2021.

She is Vice-Convener of the Court of the University of Edinburgh and
chairs the CERN and Society Foundation Board since 2015.
