Hippy Singmanee, but for his diminutive size, might be called the greatest Muay Thai fighter of the Golden Age. His combination of speed, power and craftiness might not have had a parallel, but that he remained in the lower weight classes he never has received the higher accolades of bigger fighters. Training with Hippy at his Bangkok gym is also like no other experience in all of Thailand. The entire event is improvised by him, and no visit the same as the last. But, it's a rare and beautiful thing to learn from him, watching the sparkle of his eye, ever the trickster.
