We're back with another movie club episode! This week is Matt's pick, and he chose High Life (and had no idea what he was getting us into with it.)

High Life is directed by Claire Denis and stars Robert Pattinson as Monte, a convicted murderer on death row being sent with fellow criminals to a black hole off in space.

This movie was certainly not what any of us were expecting, and that almost makes it all the more exciting to talk about. Including:

-Is this really a sci fi movie? Or is it something else/more?

-Comparisons and message on privatized prisons and the ethics of experimenting on human beings, no matter what the situation.

-The experience of this movie, traditional film vs something more resembling art and the experience that brings you on.
