This week's movie is Promising Young Woman! This is a relatively new movie that you can watch from the safety of your own home (unfortunately, it costs $20 to rent) but boy is it worth it.

Full spoilers for Promising Young Woman. In this episode, we discuss:

-Carey Mulligan's incredible performance. Seriously, she deserves an oscar.

-The complex story and why it's important. Men are shown in many different lights, including "nice guys" and the danger that still comes with that territory if your actions do not back up your act.

-A pretty disturbing final act of the movie, that finds a way to wrap up this film like a thriller would, while still staying true to the message of the movie. This shit is wrong, it's a problem, and even if you aren't seeing it, it's happening. Lives are affected, changed, ruined.
