Mrs. Jeter reflects on how stepping out on faith allowed her to expand her reach by serving students, advocating for parents, and mentoring & coaching other SPED teachers.Guest Bio:Mrs. Murphy-Jeter is a Certified Texas Teacher, Certified Positive Parenting & Discipline Trainer, and Positive Discipline in the Classroom Trainer. While she has worked in the field of education for the past 29 years, working in grades Pre-K to 12th teaching all core subjects with a focus in English and Reading, her passion is working with Special Education students. Mrs. Murphy-Jeter is a Family Advocate for families that have students with disabilities and a mentor for new and veteran teachers. Through her company, Little Scholars Tutoring, she provides tutoring and education enrichment services for students. She also offers Professional Development training, group coaching/mentorship and one on one coaching/mentorship to Educators.Mrs. Murphy-Jeter has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a M.Ed.( Masters Degree in Education) with a concentration in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia University Texas.
