She did her residency in family medicine and practiced as a family doctor for 10 years prior to completing a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Iowa. She has worn many hats throughout her career and we talk about many of them including being a team physician, a PCP, a sports med specialist, ultrasound guru, and a preceptor for residents.
