Proclamation! For the First Sunday of Easter, 7 April 2024
After the crucifixion the apostles gather behind locked doors, fearing for their lives.  The resurrected Jesus appears to them and greets them with “Shalom”, with peace.  Jesus shares the evidence of his wounds, and by his wounds the apostles recognize him.  Thomas, who had doubted, cries out, “My Lord and My God.”
