Each Tuesday at 8pm John Bender brings you Prognosis, the best of classic progressive and post progressive rock. For the uninitiated, progressive rock is a sub-genre of rock music emanating from the U.K. in the mid-to-late 60s and early 70s. Each week John brings in a varied selection of old and new releases. It’s been stated that prog is a state of mind. In John’s view, it’s the combining of disparate elements, influences and genres that define prog. In broad strokes, it’s music that’s intelligent, subversive and colourful.
