On this episode of the podcast James, Mara, and Kimberly sit down with Paul Clifton, a 6th grade teacher from Denver, Colorado’s McGlone Academy and the man behind a student-led podcast, The Voice of Montbello. The Voice of Montbello has had interviews with figures such as American rapper Oddisee and Black Lives Matter 5280's Christina XLimit, to sharing stories from their own families. In this diverse community of Denver, Paul is empowering his students to use their voice to talk about their own lived experiences as they explore topics of racism, police brutality, immigration, and more.
