This podcast was GREAT! If you having been teaching for years or beginning your first year this podcast could benefit you. Jon Kelley shares insightful information when starting his PBL unit. When listening to his story about his own PBL, I found the information very useful. His school was in the beginning of using PBL units and took a leap of faith and tackled one. Through guidance, he lead his students to create their own action plan on informing their community. As a first year teacher going to tackle PBLs, I loved what information he had to share. I want my PBL units to be more community impact focused instead of mainly content focused. If you’re looking for new ways to involve the community and let the students take the lead or new to PBL, this podcast is for you! Thank you to Jon for sharing about your own experience.
