“Chronic disease is something we’ve invented, it is unnatural to the human body. We eat things that create inflammation all day long, and we handicap our immune system from responding.”

On this week’s episode of the Eat Green Make Green Podcast, I sit down with the unstoppable Dr. Brooke Goldner. Dr. Goldner is a board certified Physician, Author, Speaker, and Founder of goodbyelupus.com. We talk about how she was diagnosed with stage 4 Lupus and given 6 months to live at the age of 16, how she was on chemotherapy and other experimental treatments for years, how meeting her now husband drastically changed her life, how changing her diet cured her of “uncurable” Lupus, why doctors are not educated on nutrition, her take on the use of medications, the power of what she calls hyper nourishment, how trauma and mindset fit into the healing process, her advice for beginning to get healthy, and her advice for parents with kids that are struggling with their health.
