Each week Punky! Radio plays great tracks from a few bands you'll recognize and even more tracks from bands you have not A great place to hear music with an attitude. If you're looking to find soothing acoustic music, keep searching. Everything Punky! comes with an edge. Its the reason Punky! Radio is one of the longest running pod-casts on the Internet!
Great show for discovering your new favourite punk, garage and psychobilly bands. The hosts have a great love for the music they play and their between song nonsense is hugely entertaining.
The longest running independent music podcast in the world! 13 years and counting, there must be a reason for it's continued popularity. Wheter it's the great music, banter and chats in between or features like "Poetry corner", "Izzatwat", "PGOTW" or just the genral mild quirkiness - it's up to you.Beware: Highly addictive.
A cracking mix of new and established bands from the punkier side of the street. Interspersed with good natured banter from hosts Paul & Tony and the occasional dose of mild quirkiness. And it’s one of the longest running independent music podcasts around.
Best International Punk music podcast.Great music. Amusing banter between songs. Send in your gigs for free advertising.Send in your jokes and poems to become internationally famous. Send in your favorite jerks to be twatted before the universe. Equinine friendly.Ask about the Naught Nottingham tours!
A long running and always high quality Podcast focusing on Punk Rock music (with bits of rock n roll / garage / blues / ska etc thrown in for good measure). A lot of laughs and even some "mild quirkiness"!Highly recommended.
One listen and you will understand why this is such a long running show. Great music from around the world, mild quirkinesses and all around good fun will keep you coming back for more!!
A fab podcast, great music, mildly quirky chats and great info on new and older bands alike
The longest running music podcast that plays the best original punk, psycho-billy, and some ska every week. Pauly B and Tony's banter is always entertaining between the songs, especially Izzatwat, Facebook comments and the gig guide. But the show is really about the music and continues to run without ads (which is a big plus for me).
One of the longest running independent podcasts ON THE PLANET
Best music podcast on the internet.... possibly the world... no the entire universe!!!!
This has been my favorite music podcast since I started listening in 2006 and it still does not disappoint. Great music - punk, psychobilly, garage, ska, and more, from bands all over the world. Entertaining banter keeps things lively. So do yourself a favor and give it a listen! Ann K
6 stars IMHO. Cheerfully broadcast. If you hate Punky!, you’re wrong!!Luv, JenGlenJenGlenGlenJennnnnn
Glad to have found Punky! It's a fast-moving, happy independent music show. They feature tracks from all over the world; the playlist is eclectic, but, as the name suggests, the show features bands who actually have something to say: a welcome antidote to all the over-polished toss out there.
Goopa! Goopa!Punky! Radio is the world's longest running independent music podcast. Hosted by Paulyb Edwards and Tony Hearn, Punky! is the best place on the planet for those of you looking for a weekly dose of punk, punk rock, garage punk, psychobilly, rockabilly, ska and those weird genres that fall between the musical cracks...! In addition to the top class music, there's irreverant chat and features you won't find anywhere else. If you've not listened before then give it a try. If you like it you're sure to be hooked. If you don't like it then there's obviously something seriously wrong with you and you should seek urgent medical help!Apoog! Apoog! Our Graham
