Shahid Shabbir also known as Baba ji, is freelance historian, and researcher, who is obsessed with the hobby of discovering the abandoned and obliterated sikh heritage places, including Gurudwaras, forts, courts, havelies, baags (Royal gardens), barandaries, etc related to ancient sikh history from 17th century onwards.

Babaji’s work has been widely appreciated by the Sikh community, especially by those connected to social media.

In this interview Babaji talks  about his experiences and the condition of these heritage places from which some have and few are on the verge of extinction.
