Like 'Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen' and 'To Live and Die in LA', this podcast has one thing many true crime podcasts lack; not only does it follow the investigation into a crime in real time, the creator is the investigator, or at least involved in the investigator. Johnathan Walton is also a very good storyteller (as might be expected, given his profession), and manages to strike the balance between the very real hurt and betrayal he felt as a con artist's victim, and the distance necessary to tell the story. It also gives due weight to the suffering of the victims, which is sometimes missing from many true-crime podcasts. Recommended.
