A 1930s adventure starring a quick-witted seaplane pilot and her niece sounds like something made specifically to appeal to me. And, thankfully, the audiodrama happens to be clever, funny, and fast-paced. It really captures the quick wit of Howard Hawk's films with sharply drawn characters and never takes itself too seriously. Queens of the Sapphire Sea really is one of the most purely enjoyable audiodramas I've listened to. Fans of Indiana Jones, The Phantom, The Rocketeer, and The Shadow will want to listen to this series.
