In this Researcher Spotlight episode, Chrysi Kyratsou talks with Morgan Mattingly, who has just finished her MA at QUB, focusing on evaluating current policy and practice related to refugee education in the UK . Morgan aims to continue her research into the topic at a PhD level at QUB from February 2021, this time focusing on understanding the education gaps throughout the whole of the migratory journey. In the echo of the Human Rights Day, Morgan reflects on her experience as an English Language Teacher with international students in different sites of the globe, and explains why access to education is a Human Right inextricably interrelated with human development.
