Callie has a storytelling and interview style based on compassion, empathy, and speaking truth to power. I love listening and learning from them, and their guests, and have been a listener for years.

I just started listening to this show and am really enjoying it. In each episode, a queer guest is given space to tell their own story. In doing this, the show is able to discuss a lot of really important issues affecting the LGBTQIA community, but the focus on personal narrative makes the show feel intimate rather than didactic. Host Callie Wright does a great job guiding the narrative with empathy and compassion, and I particularly love that Wright ends each episode with words of affirmation for the listener.
