RIVKA R3 NYC is a Brooklyn NYC native and has been listening and dancing to House Music since the mid 80s. She started learning the art of DJing on Technic Turntables in 2004, and she would go vinyl shopping every Friday at Dance Tracks and Satellite Records back in her humble beginnings. RIVKA was surrounded by DJs all her life; it was inevitable a musical journey was in her path.

In 2005 till 2017, everyone knew RIVKA under her alias, "RUBI R3 NYC / R-Tres". During the years she held down her own events, residencies, and radio shows. Her reputation spread by creating memorable nights at events such as "SoulGasm NYC", "FunkBox NYC" w/Tony Touch, "I'll House U" w/Oscar P, Golden Record NYC w/Joe Claussell & Vince Watson, "Dreamland NYC" w/SONIwithEye & Eli Escobar, and "Release" w/DJ Disciple. Also, she's had the opportunity to open for Tony Humphries, Anańe, Mr. V, Jeannie Hopper, and DJ EBAR. In 2017, she opened for Grammy Winner "Hex Hector" at CLUB CIELO and played a 3 hour set.

In 2020, RIVKA decided to learn Abelton Live, and she is now a respected music producer of Deep House, Detroit Techno, Acid House, Tribal House. She is also creating Hip-Hop beats, and Drum-N-Bass as well. Forward to 2023 and current, RIVKA has been picked up by record labels by "Open Bar Music", "Kolour Recordings", and "Mavek Recordings". RIVKA's is musically inspired by Todd Terry, Larry Heard, Wayne Gardiner, Tyree Cooper, Kerri Chandler, MAW, Nick Holder, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Mike Huckaby, Vince Watson, Kraftwerk, to name a few.
