A good start, but I am hoping it takes a leap forward
R U Playing?A truly mysterious podcast following Carly Parker as she pursues an ancient game that her friend fell into. Love the atmosphere, actors, and most of the writing. But climaxes to stories like this can be hard in this reporter-esque format. So I have to say that--while I like the ending bit--it wasn't what I was expecting, and I was hoping for a bit more.
Absolutely loved it.
Great plot, very mysterious and "high-concept". Ending was not very clear, and sometimes it was hard to follow what was happening. Clues didn't always tie in nicely.
I'm trying to listen to, it's too slowly I mean it is not precisely though
I got into Rabbits, and really enjoyed it. I've heard some fans of The Black Tapes say they were disappointed, but I haven't gotten into that one yet, so this one seemed pretty fresh to me. I'd recommend for fans of Limetown. Fictional, mysterious, Lots of moving parts.
So good. This got me into investigative fiction. The acting isn't the greatest, but it's hardly noticable with the quality audio, great story line and creepy vibes.
Excellent podcast in all facets: the story, the voice acting, and the technical production.
What a wild ride. o.o
I want to like this podcast so much. The story is so intriguing, but the voice acting is just really subpar.
PRA podcasts seem interesting, but the repeated pretended interacting between listeners and fictional characters really gets tedious.
This is a journey that you will rarely encounter in podcasts. The tale is both fantastic and surreal while simultaneously horrific and unnerving. The production is amazing and they have truly earned the tagline that they so often proclaim of "television for your ears."
Beautiful, moody and mysterious. A wonderfully written and compelling fiction podcast.
Too much mythology crammed into a short series.
Probably my least favorite of their shows, but still super solid and leagues above 95% of other audio drama podcasts.
This is a tough one for me... to rate. I really liked... the plot. But every third sentence used a... pause. I started not being able to... stand it.
Rabbits reminds me of the movie "The Game", but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. It just made me want to know more about what was going to happen to Carly. I definitely hope there are more episodes in the future.
Compulsive listening! A great story with a few neat plot twists. Extremely well-presented and very enjoyable.
After the first season of Rabbits, I find myself walking around looking for clues to the game - R U Playing?
While the show overall kept me listening for the conspiracy vibes, overall I found it somewhat lackluster. They really said "what if we took the concept of geocaching and made it less fun?" If you want a dynamic, well written female protag, this is not for you. When interacting with other characters she serves only as a way to prompt the male characters to monologue and info dump, and her incessant, thrilling reply? ".... okay?", said with all the enthusiasm of a corpse. Probably an alright listen if you're a cishet man who thinks he's An Intellectual.
