In this episode Rad Rob breaks down the Wednesday Night War between AEW vs NXT!

AEW Dynamite aired live from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida on TNT.

This show saw the AEW in-ring debut of Matt Hardy in a Street Fight Tag Team Match. Hardy teamed with Kenny Omega to take on Le Sex Gods (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara).

Also, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley faced Frankie Kazarian in a non-title match. Cody Rhodes battled Joey Janela, and Lance Archer faced QT Marshall.

WWE NXT was pretaped and aired from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida with essential personnel only.

Scheduled for the show, which was being promoted as a TakeOver-level event, were two championship matches. Adam Cole will defending the NXT Championship against Velveteen Dream. Dream pinned Cole two weeks ago in a tag team match. Charlotte Flair will also defend the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time since winning it at WrestleMania 36 against Io Shirai.

We will also see the in-ring debut of Karrion Kross (formerly Killer Kross) along with Scarlett. His opponent has not been announced. Finn Bálor will return to seek out his attacker, and Johnny Gargano will battle Dominik Dijakovic.
