Episode 22 of the Radults podcast features record producer, audio engineer and mixing engineer, Catherine J Marks. Catherine has over 10 years of experience working in studios worldwide. Her production, mixing and engineering credits include Wolf Alice, Manchester Orchestra, St. Vincent, Foals, PJ Harvey, Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes, Frank Turner,  Kanye West, Ian Brown, MIA, Placebo and The Killers to name a few. Having worked alongside legendary producers, Alan Moulder and Flood, Catherine has gone on to achieve considerable acclaim as a producer in her own right, including winning the coveted MPG Producer of the Year Award in 2018. 

Now based in London, native Melbournian Catherine was kind enough to spend an hour of her time during a recent trip home, to talk us through her career, providing  invaluable insight into how she managed to turn her interest in music into her career in music production and the challenges that she faced in the process of doing so, passing on some priceless advice for people looking to become producers in the process.
