When we become a parent, we don’t just sign up to help them master new skills, but also to raise them to be happy and successful. We as parents devote eons of time helping our children master new skills, like ballet, football and piano, but we don’t spend the equal amount of time to teach them to manage their feelings. We often hear: “I am sleep training my baby, my daughter is studying violin, I am coaching my Childs soccer team, we are going to Kumon to practice our math skills…” But where is the Kumon on being happy? This is my journey of raising happy kids.
