This week’s guest is Ruby Warrington. She’s the author of five books: Sober Curious, Material Girl, Mystical World, The Numinous Astro Desk, The Sober Curious Reset, and Women Without Kids. As you might imagine, the last one is what I asked her to come talk to us about today. I loved her book, and I was so thrilled to get to ask her more about.
We cover so much ground in this episode, including stereotypes about women without kids, found family, why men don’t feel as attached to fatherhood as women do to motherhood, and weird things Pope Francis has said about pets. Ruby is so smart and funny and thoughtful, and she offers such multi-faceted, well-researched insights into the conversation about women without kids—both historically & today.
Thank you as always for listening, and enjoy!
