This week we continue our kids series by talking to the co-founders of F.A.C.E, Abigail Aldridge!

She graduated as a conductive practitioner from the UK in 2008. Since then she has worked in London, Ireland, Mauritius and then moved to Canada in 2010. She was working in Toronto until 2014, when she gained permanent residency and immediately knew she had to be closer to the mountains. She never thought she would stay long term in Canada until she moved to Alberta.

She joined Families of Alberta for Conductive Education in 2016, and took over running the organization with her board of directors in 2017. Alongside her career she has been teaching dance and yoga to the greater and special needs community. Abigail has volunteered her time in Vietnam with 'No Ordinary Journey foundation', educating medical professionals on alternative methods of handling children with cerebral palsy. If you're not impressed with all of that, she has volunteered in Uganda and India working with children in orphanages and foster care, to assist with their development if limited within their movement.

We are so impressed by Abigail and her team of practitioners with all that they have done with FACE. We hope you enjoy the episode and if you have any questions please contact them at (587) 830-3223 or reach out to them through their social media:
