The essays were written between 1991 and 1993 for the Edgerton United Church of Christ Newsletter, Edgerton, Wisconsin. All three essays deal with human relationships.  What they need, the importance of a physical connection and what Christians and followers of God should do to improve our society as we work to meet God's concern fort Justice, Integrity, Worship of God and Service to others.

This is one of a series of readings from the book "The Holy Ground of Honey Creek: Reflections of a Small-Town Pastor" by Rev. I. Dean Jordan. It contains a collection of essays, sermons and liturgy used by Rev. Jordan in his more than 40 year ministry as an United Methodist minister in small towns throughout Wisconsin. It was written not simply as a record of his witness to his faith, but as a guide to help you improve and deepen your own.
