Is it possible to make a good Children of the Corn film? We ask ourselves this very important question as we review 2023’s Shudder Exclusive Children of the Corn 2020 remake. I mean, there are literally 11 movies in the franchise now. 

One of them has to be good, right? Right? 

Well, after being shot during the early days COVID-19 Pandemic and stuck in distribution hell for the last three years Kurt Wimmer’s attempt brings the franchise to the modern day with a new baddie in the lead: Eden. 

There’s also our Final Girl™ Bo and her dad, the town Comptroller. Or Mayor. I don’t know they never really clarified. 

And it wouldn’t be a Children of the Corn film without the wonderful He Who Walks.
