Unfortunately, violence against women has been part of the fabric of many societies and cultures worldwide but its so predominate here in Nigeria. It is so commonplace that it is often going unnoticed. It has also failed to earn the level of concern it deserves in light of the devastating effects on children and the family as a whole. Sadly, the victims of this situation are at a loss of what to do and how to find help and it can be heartbreaking.
