On this episode of Real Talks on the Rocks, I sit down with Charlie Herrera-Villar. Charlie currently owns his own barbershop after trying out different careers in both acting and firefighting. Charlie talks about life growing up in Mexican cartel territory, having a child when he was 17 and how he was able to pivot through various careers before winding up in barbering and then owning his own shop. Charlie also spends time talking about the stories that guys talk about while in the barber chair and gives his take on tech layoffs, relationships and prioritizing what's important in life.
