Vanessa Voigt is from Pawarenga, New Zealand and was born and raised in Otara, South Auckland. She is the creator of the Mana Wahine Affirmation Deck, which is a deck designed to support wahine (women) who have experienced sexual trauma. These cards were birthed from her own experience.
