Mark recently took over the reins of Comics Bulletin from last week's guest Kyle Garret and has begun appointing new editorial heads to diversify the site's offerings. While Comics Bulletin has earned some praise for it's thoughtful in-depth pieces of classic and cult-favorite superhero comics, Mark hopes to expand its offerings to other branches of graphic storytelling.
As well as setting the agenda for Comics Bulletin going forward, Mark and I discuss the self-published indie comic The Dead by Jen Hickman and James Maddox!
The story takes place in an afterlife where you get to create your own room, though it's just one of infinity in a sprawling house. Everyone in the house can come and go to each room as they please, though some are more dangerous than others. The story becomes one about finding lost loved ones, procuring booze and hideous monsters, and revenge.
