I had the pleasure to speak with one of our conference speakers Mental Health Therapist Edwina Husband. Y'all, how she broke down trauma and equated it to what's keeping you in jail, whew, Chile. Ms. Edwina Husband talked about how a person may be feeling who is in jail, how their friends and family may respond, and the different types of jail. One thing that stood out to me was that, no matter what you may have experienced, know your worth and value. You are still valued the same if you were heartbroken, taken advantage of, and so forth. Your value is still the same; your value does not go down.
