If the conversation stopped without expectation, and you are left wondering what happened, you got ghosted. 

Ghosting leaves you with a feeling of loss with no means of closure. You are forever left wondering what went wrong. 

Because the conversation was halted on one end, there are questions that never get answered. In the absence of closure, questioning yourself is a natural response. These questions often sabotage your own self-worth.
