Thankfully Robert Zemeckis has left behind his creepy looking animations like The Polar Express and A Christmas Carol and has returned to live action filmmaking. Very much a character study into alcoholism, Flight is definitely a bold choice for both Director and lead actor Denzel Washington. In Flight, airline Pilot Whip Whitaker remarkably saves many lives in a plane crash and is considered by many to be a hero. But the following investigation raises some serious questions and forces Whip to face troubles in his own life.
