Ben and Danielle discuss the 2012 Pixar movie Brave, directed by Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman, and Steve Purcell. The movie stars Kelly Macdonald as Princess Merida, a young woman who tries to change her fate as her parents force her to endure a contest to see which young man in the kingdom will take her hand in marriage. However, this attempt goes awry when she accidentally turns her mother into a bear with a witch’s spell. The animated film also stars Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson.
