Lauryn Evarts & Michael Bosstick from The Skinny Confidential Dish It All

We’re back!

Here it is, our first episode of our second season together! I just have to take a moment for a little squeal. I gotta say too, I couldn’t have had a better duo to help rev this puppy back up. I want to introduce you to Lauryn Evarts and Michael Bosstick of The Skinny Confidential. The Skinny Confidential started as Lauryn’s lifestyle blog that blossomed into a health and fitness book and most recently, the Him & Her Podcast. Lauryn is the creative brains behind the brand and Michael, well, when he’s not Snapchatting, panicking, or stealing the mic, Michael runs the business. Just kidding Michael, but not really. But in all seriousness, these two are a power couple building a sassy lifestyle empire and recently joined serial entrepreneur, Gary Vaynerchuck on the #ASKGARYVEE show to chat about influencer marketing and going viral. I know, wild. #Goals.

The Skinny Confidential x Refashion

So how does The Skinny Confidential fit inside the world of fashion tech? I think the better question is, what can our industry learn from Lauryn? Like many of us, Lauryn is an entrepreneur, but she’s activated a hustle inside of her with an all means necessary approach to achieving her goals. She is consistently discovering new opportunities to build her brand. Book launches, podcasts, events, brand consulting, YouTube, Snapchat. When people zig, Lauryn zags. Her hustle is hot and in five years, she hasn’t missed a day of work, not kidding either.

Time for real talk though. Personally, I’d been feeling hustled out, out of my flow and disengaged. I’d put podcasting and blogging off for over a year and was determined to get my mojo back. I knew what I needed to do. Take action and push forward. You see guys, change is inevitable in our lives, but growth is intentional. I learned that from Lauryn and I invited her on the show to help all of activate our hustle. Once it’s activated it’s hard to go back, promise. We just have to make the choice. If Lauryn can get through double jaw surgery and still maintain her drive and focus towards her goals, we have no excuse. Lucky for us, we got Michael on the episode too to share his hustle routine.
