Grab some Titos for another episode!

Hey guys! This episode was a special treat. As you know, I usually record at GRID110, but for this episode I went to West Hollywood and recorded at Lizzy Sherman’s super cute apartment. I completely fell in love with podcasting because it allows me to connect and with interesting people, we all know I love to chat, but also because it’s so mobile. I packed up all my gear, literally two mics and a laptop, and met Lizzy at her poolside abode. We recorded on a Saturday too which was also a first and may just be the perfect way to spend a couple hours during the weekend. I took you guys with me on my Snap, so you might of seen the whole thing! Hope so!

If you haven’t already bumped into Lizzy at an event, I’ll give you a little background. She’s the senior web editor with Creative Age Publications and supervises digital across eight different magazines: The Colorist, Day Spa, Beauty Store Business, Inspire, Eyelash, Nail Pro, Nail It & Man, which is a male grooming magazine coming out this July. That’s a lot, right? I’m always so impressed by the hustle in all of our guests.

Because it’s Refashion protocol, we chatted over a very tall glass of sauvignon blanc. And, not to give it all away, we chat about everything from Facebook Live to KFC flavored nail polish and Periscope. They use Periscope during fashion weeks across the world and have grown a massive social following of over 1 million fans for their behind the scene interviews and weekly how tos with top stylists and brands. We also dive straight into my 2016 ongoing goal of becoming calmer than a cucumber. Seriously though, Lizzy is as calm as a dandelion blowing in the wind and I’m learning new ways to be more like that.
