We live in a world of critical theory, sophistry, and vain cynicism. We tend to forget that we have true duties to perform. Duties as citizens of a government on this earth that as Christians we are required to obey.

As long as that government justly upholds and enforces good and destroys and punishes evil. If they don’t we are to obey God rather than men as Peter and the Apostles point out in Acts 5:29
