My guest today is Bruce Brackett. He’s an artist, a motivational speaker, an author, and an advocate for mental health, recovery, and positivity. On his first day on Earth he was already detoxing from substances his birth mother was taking.

Then Bruce was thrown into a life of chaos and foster homes until his eventual adoption. He moved to New York City to become a Broadway star but the constant uncertainty and rejection led him to become hopelessly addicted to multiple hard-core drugs and supporting his habits by selling his body.

He has spent two decades getting intensive trauma therapy, psychiatric treatment, and rehab but is now clean and helping his over one million followers realize they are not alone and that they can get clean too.
