Thank goodness March madness is finally over. Now onto the next 3/4 of the year! In this week's episode I took a look at three stories. One of the stories comes from across the oceans at Cambridge University where notes from Charles Darwin were returned out of the blue after being reportedly stolen 22 years ago. Hopefully there's a lesson gathered to make copies of important documents/notes, especially with the technology available today. On the other side of the country in Virginia a few hundred acres gets returned back the Native American tribes to overlook the Fones Cliffs. It seems people are starting to recognize how tribes could be caregivers to the lands and can rehabilitate the ecosystem with our styles. Lastly, I look at an event that actually happened near myself. Our tribal afterschool program has recently teamed up with Amazon Web services to make a program that focuses on our younger students to take care of our first foods. It was an ambitious project that now gives a safe haven for much of the youth to expand their learning. I'm all for it and it now establishes a vision for the tribe's future.
