We think Jesus is the king of the earth and that the Bible is a gift from God giving us wisdom for being human. We aim to understand what the ancient Biblical authors were communicating in their time and place and “Re-Paradigm” our beliefs accordingly in our time and place. This process is particularly necessary for American Evangelicals, as frankly, some strange and unfounded beliefs have crept into the tradition that cannot be sustained by ancient Jewish or early Christian readings of the Bible.
