Another highly interesting episode. This potentially divisive topic was once again surprisingly deftly handled.
From the start of the show I thought I was going to listen to another debate about gun control, not really expecting that pivot. Pretty interesting facts and history of feral hogs in the US. I have hogs where I'm from but normally the biggest they can get is probably a bit bigger than an average goat, so they aren't much of a threat. The economy and industry that was brought on by these hogs are really fascinating as well.
This episode brought harmony to several weird and completely disconnected pieces of my life story: The fact I grew up in the same tiny town as Jason Isbell, my love for tweets that feel like complete satire, and my complete confusion with how rural America responds to calls for gun control.
