From an early age, I have been committed to developing my knowledge of health, fitness and nutrition. This obsession was inspired and motivated by a deep resolve to overcome my very own health struggles with was love after the first rep, and, the rest is history.I didn’t understand what a proper diet or training program was, but regardless I made significant improvements to my overall health and body composition.Driven by my passion for improving my health and becoming a better version of myself, I left school to pursue a degree in Nutrition at Queen’s University Belfast.I spent five years learning about human physiology, nutrition and food technology (food processing and manufacturing). Since then I’ve gone on to complete many other professionally recognized qualifications specific to my role. These include a postgraduate diploma in public health promotion, Certified Sports Nutritionist with the International Society of Sports Nutrition and accredited for body composition assessment through The International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK)Being armed with this information I was able to hand my diabetes much more effectively and at the same time make incredible changes to my body composition and performance.
