In this episode of Rhona Ask, Rhona is joined by Dr. Nassir Navab to discuss these questions.

Dr. Nassir Navab is the Director of the Computer Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP) research team at both Technical University of Munich and Johns Hopkins University. He has also secondary faculty appointments at both affiliated Medical Schools. He is the inventor of 47 granted US. patents and more than 50 International ones. His current research interests include medical augmented reality, computer-assisted surgery, medical robotics, computer vision and machine learning.

In this episode, Rhona and Dr. Navab discuss:

• Does AI have the potential to remove bias from race, gender, etc?
• AI provides an environment where doctors are able to focus more on the more crucial tasks.
• AI could reduce the costs of the healthcare system.
