Had a very insightful conversation this week about colorism with a few young ladies Jennifer [@_j.sky], Lilly and [@Lillynaavi] and Ashley (she doesn't have social media). It was interesting to me this whole week talking to my friends/coworkers and finding out how many of them didn't even know what colorism is or that it existed. I think one of the examples we see most is within the black community, with things like "team light skin or team dark skin" but I wanted to make a point to show that this happens with pretty much all people of color on some level. I didn't have any males other than myslef (because no males seemed interested in the topic) but it still came out good. I won't bore you with any more to read, listen to the episode, pay attention and maybe you'll take something from it. I'm gonna do this again with people from different backgrounds, and I think it'll be another good conversation. Stay tuned and follow me on ig.
