In this episode, we discuss mental health. This episode is loosely based on Johan Hari's book, Lost Connections. We discuss some of the reasons why so many people have anxiety and depression nowadays. Some of those reasons include feeling disconnected to the natural world, not feeling like the future is secure, not finding meaning in your work, and not having a community.
We wanted the episode to be more positive though, so we also offered solutions. We talk about how to find or create communities, how even small amounts of nature can increase our happiness, and we offer tips on how to make work and the future a more happy, secure place.
