With all of the frustrating things happening in our world right now, we started this track with the simple mindset of writing a very relaxed, 'chill vibes' song. The month of May, when this track was written, also happened to be 'Birthday Month' for Dirk and Justin, so we played around with the idea of writing a new birthday song... but with deeper meaning of course. After wandering through the lyrical wilderness, we wound up with a smattering of somewhat cohesive ideas that Jillian then miraculously strung together into something very cool.
