An afternoon of readings and discussion with some of literature’s leading voices – Emilie Pine, author of Notes to Self (Winner of the An Post Irish Book of the Year 2018) and Jan Carsen, author of The Fire Starters (Winner of the EU Prize for Literature Ireland 2019) in conversation about trauma and the contemporary reworking of myth for modern Irish audiences.
Chaired by Gavin Kostick (Irish Times award winning playwright), the afternoon is presented by Gym Swim Party, a major new theatrical production co-created by Danielle Galligan and Gavin Kostick, directed by Louise Lowe to be presented at The O'Reilly Theatre this autumn.
