Hey there, my mama friend!
So far I’ve brought you solo shows about dealing with your toddler and school-age child. I’ve interviewed other moms on parenting-related topics such as dating as a single mom, dealing with tricky emotions, managing ADHD in your child, and much more.
On today’s show I’m sharing some tips on creating stronger connections with your teen and adult children, based on my experience in raising two adult boys and a teen daughter thus far in my life.
If you want to have a great relationship with your older children, it starts with creating healthy boundaries within your family and household.
When our children become teens and adults, the relationship starts resembling the toddler years again sometimes. The kids want to test their boundaries but still have a safe place to fall. They want their own space, but they want to know we’re there for guidance and support. They have to fall down, make mistakes, and learn from natural consequences.
Join me as I dive deeper into 10 Ways to Build Strong Connections with Your Teen and Adult Children through Healthy Boundaries – on your side and theirs.
