Hey there, my mama friend!

As a homeschool mom myself, I am so excited to introduce you to my special guest today, who has helped tens of thousands of moms learn to not only balance working outside the home with schooling their children, but also find joy and peace in the process.

Jen Mackinnon is a mom of two from Nova Scotia who homeschooled her children for fourteen years. When her oldest was around five, Jen found herself needing to go back to work for financial reasons, but her kids were thriving in their homeschooling and Jen didn’t want to interrupt that momentum.

Jen decided to create some resources to help her navigate the journey of balancing her work and facilitating her kids' schooling. She started blogging about her adventures and began sharing those resources with other moms. This effort soon turned into a Facebook group that has since grown to over 22,000 members to date!

In this episode, Jen talks about some of the ups and downs of her journey as a working homeschool mom and shares several resources to help other moms.
